Operations Manager - Jordan 

Position Summary:

The main responsibility of the Operations Manager is to oversee the day-to-day operations of our coffee shops. It is critical that he/she displays creative strategic planning skills with the goal of expanding the business and maximizing profits. Must also possess exemplary management and leadership skills in order to ensure that the coffee shop staff performs all duties efficiently.

Responsibilities :

 

  1. Develop and agree annual plan, associated budgets and sales strategies, monitor performance against plan, initiating corrective action where necessary to ensure operations are conducted within the agreed financial parameters and targets are achieved.

  2. Develop and put in place appropriate policies and procedures to cover key areas of retail sales activity and ensure effective systems are in place for monitoring compliance to established store and service standards. Identify malls and appropriate outlet space for the establishment of new stores, prepare proposals and close deals in order to set up and open stores as per plan.

  3. Identify and develop strategies towards revenue from institutional sales through effective networking, develop and implement appropriate strategies in areas of promotions, special offers, events, etc. thereby achieving planned revenue targets.

  4. Manage the brand image of the store/ product, develop, and implement all chain and brand marketing activities to establish and grow the brand in the market.

  5. Analyze the market and the local consumer tastes and preferences and customize the offered eateries to suit local requirements (while staying within international standards).

  6. Manage and control all aspects of stock management within the outlets, ensure adherence to procedures thereby minimizing stock accumulation/ loss. Prepare and submit necessary reports on sales and costs budgets and forward the same to the CEO/Directors as required.

  7. Manage the training, development and motivation of staff and ensure that the outlets are staffed with the requisite numbers and caliber of staff to meet its objective and that all staff are encouraged to maximize their capability and contribution

Job Requirements: 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent strategic planning and ownership skills

  • People management oriented

  • Hands on

  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.

  • Experience budgeting and forecasting.

  • Familiarity with business and financial principles.

  • Highly organized, time management and prioritization skills; demonstrated ability to juggle multiple critical tasks and consistently deliver against deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities and projects.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Leadership ability.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint are a must.

  • Valid driving license with car
