Coffee Shop Supervisor

Purpose of Role:

 

Coffee shop supervisor is responsible for training employees, assigning tasks, enforcing company standards and policy, maintaining inventory and ensuring high level of customer satisfaction. Creating fair and enjoyable atmosphere among the team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for sending the following reports Weekly Schedule, Weekly Maintenance Report, Employee of the Month, and Tips Report.

  • Monitoring coffee calibration, equipment’s condition, stock availability and checking product expiries.

  • Daily checking of Sales Summary, Sales Handovers and Safe Cash Handovers.

  • Monitoring daily expenses and revenues.

  • Responsible for Monthly Inventory.

  • Responsible for Monthly Attendance.

  • Organizing Staff Training.

  • Conducting daily staff briefing.

  • Attending weekly managers meeting.

  • Making Yearly staff Vacation Plan.

  • Compiling the following files, Busines Permits, Municipality Files, Contractors permits and Suppliers invoices.

  • Conducting in store coffee Audits.

  • Conducting in store staff performance audits.

  • Reporting to Area manager any eventualities in the shop including staff queries regarding operations.

  • Sending Monthly Business Review to the area manager.

  • Making sure to create a fair and enjoyable working environment for the whole team.

  • Adhering to all government food safety regulations and quality controls.

  • Making sure to make % ARABICA experience a happy and memorable one.

Job requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Priority will be given to those who are graduated.

  • Experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service preferred.

  • Training and willingness to continue learning about food and beverage preparation.

  • Exceptional listening and communication skills.

  • Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods.

  • Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

  • A polite, engaging personality.

  • Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.

  • Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
